A long time ago, I found this character in a book in which I completely identified. I devoured the book, a guilty pleasure, as it was not a literary masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination. It was just good fun, and I saw some of myself in the character. I would read clips to John, and he would laugh and say "That's Andrea!". It was hilarious, and enabled me to laugh at myself and some of my flaws. I have always said that someone should make it into a movie. Confessions of a Shopaholic. Well, they did, and I am uber-excited to see myself on the big screen!
